Hope for D.C. Small Businesses

D.C. Councilmember Kwame R. Brown has introduced a regulatory measure that offers some hope for small business owners and future entrepreneurs in the District of Columbia.

As noted by Councilman Brown in his press release introducing the "District Small Business Regulatory Flexibility Act," D.C. ranks dead last on SBE Council's "Small Business Survival Index." The legislation has been endorsed by SBE Council as it will give small business owners a voice in the regulatory process, and bring much needed accountability to regulatory system.
