The Cato Institute has released its biennial fiscal report card on the governors. The report looks at the taxing and spending records of the governors since 2008. This is a great resource report for small business owners and entrepreneurs to see whether your Governor shares your values on spending and taxes.
According to the report, four governors were awarded an “A” this year:
Mark Sanford, South Carolina
Bobby Jindal, Louisiana
Tim Pawlenty, Minnesota
Joe Manchin, West Virginia.
