Obama-nomics 2.0 – No Real Upgrade

According to a front-page Wall Street Journal news story, President Barack Obama's September 8 speech on the economy in Ohio was "far more about politics than economics." In many ways, that assessment neatly sums up Obama-nomics from the very start.

However, this time around, the President's address included a pinch of actual economics.

The White House pitched the speech as an agenda to get the economy moving. That, of course, comes with an implicit recognition that Obama-nomics, thus far, has failed to move the economy forward.…
