Overturning the "War on Coal"

On June 20, the U.S. Senate will vote on a motion to proceed to S.J. Resolution 37, a measure to block the Environmental Protection Agency's Utility MACT rule.  The rule is costly and intrusive, and will impact 40% of our nation's electricity generation.  Do small businesses really need higher electricity costs on top of everything else?

On Jim Blansingame's radio show today, SBE Council President &CEO Karen Kerrigan talks about the "war on coal" and its impact on small business.

SBE Council will KEY VOTE the motion to proceed to S.J. Resolution 37 for its forthcoming Ratings of the 112th Congress -- a vote for the motion is a vote for America's small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Karen Kerrigan, President & CEO
