New Trade Data Poses New Questions

The only clear economic positive over the past year has been resumed growth on the trade front. After record declines from July 2008 to April/May 2009, both exports and imports resumed growth. Exports rose in 10 of 11 months, and imports were up in 8 of 10 months.

But now we have some new questions. Both exports and imports declined in April, according to the latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis out on June 10...
