In this interview with Politico.com, Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, insists that all the tax cuts set to expire at the end of this year must be extended. Senator Snowe says that uncertainty and the lack of business confidence continue to drag the economy down. She also suggests that President Obama talk to small business owners to get a better understanding about how the tax increases he supports will further impact jobs, investment and the overall economy.
